It can be used by students at different stages of medical education, including those preparing for coursework, clinical rotations, and board-style examinations.
How is MEDzooz different from a traditional question bank?
Traditional question banks often focus primarily on providing a large volume of practice questions. MEDzooz takes a different approach by emphasizing the reasoning process behind answering clinical questions.

Do I need to complete the modules in a specific order?
No. You can complete modules based on your current learning needs, coursework, upcoming rotations, or topics you want to review.

Yes. MEDzooz includes features that allow you to save questions and flag topics so you can easily return to areas you want to revisit.
MEDzooz includes note-taking features that allow you to create private notes while studying.
If you prefer to highlight and annotate content directly, you can create a separate Hypothes.is account to use annotation features. Users should review Hypothes.is settings and privacy options to ensure they are configured according to their preferences.
At this time, MEDzooz does not have a feature that allows users to strikethrough answer choices while completing multiple-choice questions. We recognize that this can be a helpful study tool and hope to add this functionality in the future.
Your progress and practice question results within each module will be saved so you can return and continue where you left off.
However, interactive knowledge checks and self-assessments are not saved and will need to be completed again if you leave the module.
Access to MEDzooz Academy is available for as long as your subscription remains active.
If your subscription expires or is canceled, access to subscription-based content and features will end according to the terms of your subscription.
